The THLC29142 uses a high-torque V-belt drive to use the power of the Loncin G160F engine; a large-displacement (163cc) four-stroke forced-air-cooled motor with an OHV configuration for a sizeable cut in fuel-consumption, emissions, noise and vibration; and a metal-cam that combines with a cast-iron cylinder-sleeve and a forged-steel connection-rod to confer fantastic long-term reliability.

A low-oil alert system protects the engine by automatically shutting it down when the reservoir’s running dry; while a transistor-type ignition works to minimise fuel-consumption on start-up. Also important in terms of the engine is the cavernous three-litre fuel-tank that delivers an impressive three-hour run-time on one fill.

The Handy THLC29142 Petrol Compactor-Plate operates down to a substantial 25cm and exerts a massive 11000N (1121kg) on the ground-surface. It’s fitted with a comfortable soft-grip handlebar which can be collapsed for convenient transport and storage; and it offers a sizeable 30cm working-width and moves at 25 metres per-minute, so you can expect impressive productivity.
